Heung Min Son scoffs when asked if Dortmund or Spurs have the better striker

Tottenham Hotspur and Borussia Dortmund go head to head in the Champions League tonight for the second successive year.

In last season’s competition, the two sides were drawn in the same group, along with the eventual champions Real Madrid.

Spurs managed to beat Dortmund both home and away, two crucial results that allowed them to top the group of death.

This season, the Lilywhites and the Black and Yellows face off in the last sixteen, a winner takes all tie across two legs to decide who marches on to the quarters.

Spurs come into the game in good form, with four wins from their last four Premier League games, while Dortmund currently top the German League.

However, Spurs will be without main man Harry Kane up top, as the striker continues to recover from an ankle injury sustained against Man United last month.

Heung Min Son was asked this week by SportBild whether Dortmund had the better striker in Paco Alcacer or Tottenham in Harry Kane.

Son said (as reported by Sport Witness): “Clearly Harry! He’s just such a strong, complete striker. That’s what every manager wants.”
