Heung-min Son seemingly hints at Tottenham injury return on Instagram

Tottenham Hotspur winger, Heung-min Son, has seemingly hinted at a return from injury in his latest Instagram story post

The injury came after the Carabao Cup semi-final first-leg against Chelsea, with the South Korean playing 79 minutes before being withdrawn.

While he did now show any obvious signs of being injured on the night, Antonio Conte revealed in his press conference that Son felt a pain in his leg the next day.

The Spurs boss hinted that Son could be out until the international break, which would make for around two weeks on the sidelines, but Football London reported some within Tottenham worried it could be more like five weeks.

Fortunately, in the midst of the winter break for Tottenham, it appears that Son is nearing his return from a short spell out, if his latest Instagram post is anything to go by.

The Spurs star posted a picture of his football boots, along with the word ‘soon’ and two emojis – a thumbs up and a football.

Spurs Web Opinion:

Having Son back will be a huge boost for Conte once the Premier League starts up again. This is arguably the first time he will have all four forwards fit and available to choose from in Kane, Son, Moura and Bergwijn. That can only be good for the run-in.
