Heung Min Son’s old club troll Tottenham on Twitter after miserable result

Tottenham Hotspur have had one of the worst weeks in their recent history after matches against Bayern Munich and Brighton ended in embarrassing fashion.

Fortunately, Spurs fans now have a week off away from Premier League and Champions League action during the international break.

During this time, the new Tottenham Hotspur Stadium has also been transformed into an NFL venue for its first American event.

Heung Min Son’s old club, Bayer Leverkusen, have taken the opportunity to use this transformation to mock the North London side after their 7-2 defeat at the hands of Bayern last week.

Spurs were 1-0 up and dominating the game against the German champions before Kimmich grabbed a goal against the run of play and the Tottenham lads imploded.

They conceded five goals in the second half alone and ex-Gunner Serge Gnabry picked up four across the match.

Leverkusen have now implied that the Bayern defeat forced Spurs to change sports:
