The transfer window is set to shut this evening, but there is still time for the late move or two.

Tottenham have announced that youngster Josh Onomah has joined Sheffield Wednesday on a season-long loan.

Onomah played 33 games for Aston Villa on-loan last season, but his work ethic was often questioned by fans.

Onomah failed to play his way into Poch’s plans, and now finds himself away from Spurs for another year, with perhaps his last chance to catch the manager’s eye.

The 21-year-old has yet to make a Premier League start for Spurs.

  1. Sadly, this lad has been given many chances by Pochettino but just doesn’t take them. His work rate needs improvement.
A great pity Pochettino didn’t give Janssen as many chances for he really tries hard maybe too hard to impress.
