It is fair to say that Tottenham Hotspur fans were more than frustrated by their late Christmas present from Jose Mourinho and his boys.
Spurs started on fire at Molineux, with Tanguy Ndombele scoring within the first minute to give the Lilywhites instant ascendancy.
Tottenham went on to boss the opening ten minutes, with Reguilon and Doherty pushing way up, the forwards pressing from the front, and the team creating chances.
However, when the goal didn’t come straight away, Jose Mourinho’s side dropped all the way back and seemed content to defend their way to a 1-0 victory.
Unfortunately for the white side of North London, Wolves had other ideas and eventually equalised through a corner after 80 minutes of huffing and puffing.
While Spurs could have gone third and closed back two points against Liverpool with a win, they instead sit in fifth place six points behind the Premier League leaders.
Let’s take a look at how some Tottenham fans reacted on Twitter:
I've had Enough!!!, Park the bus, Park the bus😥😥😥😥😥😥😥😥😥😥😥😥, Sack this Old school coach right now. THIS IS NOT THE TOTTENHAM I KNOW, HIJACK POCHETTINO FROM PSG FFS😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

Winks was a creative influence mate. Kane was average, son aimless and sissoko… Jesus

And stop playing to tie or playing not to lose

1-0 UP AND WE’RE DEFENDING AND DEFENDING LIKE WE DIDN’T LEARN ANYTHING FROM THE OTHER GAMES

It Is always easy to blame the coach. Wft.
The players are not good enough.period! They can't pass, they can't defend. How is this Jose fault?
Do people watch the game?
Are players are not good enough! A little pressure and they make silly mistakes
Do people think Jose likes it.— Jonathan A Forgor (@ForgorJonathan) December 27, 2020
Negative. With all that talent on the pitch we play within ourselves. I doubt the prem is on Jose’s radar this season but still, sitting on 1-0s doesn’t work anymore.

Ndombele was in control.
Winning free-kicks and frustrating Wolves. Why did he take him off?I swear I'm fuming 😡

Terrible from Mourinho. We got all we deserved from that game.
Manager 100% to blame for this.

Mourinho out. Get him gone. I don’t care how much it takes to sack him I want him gone tonight. Finished washed up manager

Wow, Jose's tactics cost us yet again.
Every game we just let teams smash and grab against us because we are unwilling to play REAL football.
It worked for a few games but this is all on Jose.

Have something to tell us about this article?
Stop the stupidity.Mourinho devices the plan to perfection but the players are just not good enough to execute it.Face the fact.Lloris has never come out to claim a ball from a corner, always rooted to the line.Did you expect Mou to get on the pitch and man-mark Saiss.Ndombele was deadtired that’s why he took him off.Kane and Son were average. How is this Mou’s fault?
Jamie Redknapp should question the attitude of the players not Mourinho?
