‘Hint Hint’ – Some Spurs fans react to Toby Alderweireld’s tweet

Tottenham Hotspur have been in petty poor form of the late in the Premier League, despite their impressive Champions League exploits.

Spurs have lost three of their last four Prem games, dropping 11 out of 12 points in the process.

Despite the fact Tottenham had a three week break after the Southampton game, Pochettino still felt the need to rest arguably the club’s best defender Toby Alderweireld.

Tottenham ultimately lost the match due to a shaky defence, something Toby may have been able to influence if on the pitch.

The future surrounding the Belgian centre back is up in the air, with Tottenham extending his contract this year until the summer of 2020.

However, a clause in this extension will allow him to leave for just £25m this summer if a bid comes in that Toby is happy with.

With the Spurs team currently in Barcelona at a warm weather training camp, some fans have reacted to Alderweireld’s latest tweet.
