Some Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to Twitter following Danny Rose’s comments yesterday evening which put his future at Tottenham Hotspur in some doubt.
The left-back spoke after England’s penalty shoot out win against Switzerland yesterday and claimed that he is ready to leave if the club no longer want him (Sky Sports).
Rose, who has been at Tottenham for the past 11 seasons and will be 29 next month and suggested that it is the club’s policy to sell some of their older players.
The former Leeds United player has featured more regularly for Spurs this season compared to the one previous and has shown his class of why he is in the eyes of many supporters, the club’s first-choice left back ahead of Ben Davies.
Rose still has two years to run on his existing deal in North London and has been the subject of potential interest from Everton with Lucas Digne heading the other way (Daily Star).
