Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane has revealed that he hopes to be in contact with Jose Mourinho for the rest of his playing career.
The marksman admitted that he was taken by surprise by Daniel Levy’s decision to sack the Portuguese, which came just five days before the Carabao Cup final against Manchester City (Sky Sports).

“I really respect him as a manager and person. I wish him all the best at Roma. It is great to have one of the best managers in the world on your side.
“I will always respect him and hopefully be in contact with him for the rest of my career.”
Kane and Mourinho both share an elite mentality to try and win at all costs, so it is easy to see why the pair would have bonded during their time together.
