Tottenham Hotspur enjoyed another successful pre-season match yesterday as they took on the Spanish giants Real Madrid at the Allianz Arena.
The match was part of the Audi Cup, as Spurs looked to progress through the semi-final to play for a chance of pre-season silverware today.
Tottenham recorded a 1-0 victory over Los Blancos thanks to a first-half goal from Harry Kane, who took advantage of a Marcelo mistake and clipped the ball past Navas.
This follows up Spurs impressive win over Juve and narrow loss to Man United in Asia over the past couple of weeks.
Spurs will now play Bayern Munich after they demolished Fenerbahce 6-1 in the other Audi Cup semi-final. Meanwhile, Real Madrid will play Fenerbahce today too in the third-place playoff.
While pre-season silverware is worth next to nothing to Spurs, coming through with wins over the likes of Juve, Real Madrid, and Bayern would be a huge boost for the start of the season.
Luckily, Spurs fans in the UK can watch the cup final for free on ITV4, with the broadcast starting at 7:15 pm and the match starting at 7:30 pm.
