How are Barca playing ahead of Tottenham clash?

Tottenham play Huddersfield away in the Premier League today, but fans will have one eye on the Champions League tie against Barcelona on Wednesday.

Many fans will consider this as their biggest game of the season, much like the club’s home and away legs against Real Madrid last season.

Tottenham will be hoping to repeat the same results, as they earned a point away to Madrid before smashing them 3-1 at home.

Spurs are just beginning to ramp up their form ahead of the game, with wins against both Brighton and Watford, along with a possible three points away to Huddersfield.

Barcelona on the other hand have entered a tricky patch of their season.

Last Sunday evening, Lionel Messi fired the giants ahead against Girona after just 19 minutes. Clement Lenglet was then sent off, the player who is likely to replace the suspended Umtiti against Spurs.

Barca eventually dropped two points, with the final score being 2-2.

They then followed this poor result with a 2-1 loss away to Leganes mid-week.
