How Everton’s Iliman Ndiaye is feeling amid links to Tottenham Hotspur

Everton sources have given a clear response to reports suggesting that Tottenham Hotspur and other Premier League clubs have enquired about a deal to sign Iliman Ndiaye in January.

It was reported at the start of last month that Tottenham are ready to turn their attentions to Ndiaye after Morgan Rogers signed a new contract with Aston Villa.

According to some sources, Spurs have already made contact over a deal for the Everton man ahead of January, and they are not the only ones to do so.

Over recent days, we have heard that Man City and Liverpool have joined Tottenham in the race for Ndiaye, who is said to rank high on the wishlist of all three clubs.

How have Everton reacted to speculation over Tottenham target Iliman Ndiaye?

It has now been revealed by TEAMtalk that the former Marseille man’s performances this season have indeed caught the attention of several clubs.

Apart from the three mentioned before, Newcastle United, Juventus, AC Milan, and Atletico Madrid are all said to be admirers of Ndiaye.

However, the outlet claims that they have learned from sources close to the situation that Everton has moved quickly to play down the chances of a January transfer.

The sources insist that the Toffees have not been contacted about Ndiaye’s availability since Inter Milan’s approach was turned down in the summer.

The Merseyside club have no intention of listening to any offers for the winger in January, and they are in a strong position to turn down bids, given that their star man is contracted to the club until 2029.

What would it take for Spurs to sign Ndiaye next summer?

TEAMtalk explain that should bids arrive for the 25-year-old next summer, they have to be ‘huge’ to stand any chance of pricing the player away from Everton.

David Moyes’ men have not put a price tag on Ndiaye, but it has been suggested by some that it would take an offer of over £70m for them to greenlight a sale.

The outlet adds that the Senegal international is fully focused on helping Everton achieve their objectives this season.
