How much money Tottenham will receive for Eric Dier – Journalist reveals

Fabrizio Romano has revealed that Bayern Munich will pay €4m (£3.4m) to Tottenham Hotspur for the transfer of Eric Dier.

It now seems a matter of time before Dier seals a move to Bayern, with footage emerging earlier today of the centre-back arriving in Germany for his medical.

The 29-year-old described the Bundesliga giants as an ‘amazing club’ to reporters and admitted that he is looking forward to reuniting with Harry Kane.

With Dier having six months left on his contract at Spurs, the North London club were never going to get a big transfer fee for the experienced defender.

Spurs sell Eric Dier to Bayern Munich for £3.4m

Romano has now confirmed on Instagram that Thomas Tuchel’s men have indeed landed the England international for a cut-price fee, with Spurs set to receive £3.4m for the player.

The journalist also gave his ‘here we go’ seal of approval for the transfer, confirming that it is now a done deal.

Spurs Web Opinion

This is a great move for Dier and I would not be surprised if he does well at Bayern. The likes of Pochettino, Mourinho and Conte all valued him at Spurs and Tuchel now evidently also believes that the 29-year-old can be a useful addition to his side.
