Tottenham Hotspur are continuing to work hard to get a deal for Savinho over the line, as Manchester City continue to delay the move.
Over the last few days, some reports have said that Tottenham are advancing in talks with Man City over a deal for Savinho.
However, Spurs fans are understandably getting frustrated as that is something they have heard since the start of the summer window.
Tottenham have been ramping up pressure on City to greenlight Savinho’s sale, and a new report has shed light on what the current feeling is at the North London club about the deal.

Tottenham ‘confident’ of landing Savinho after player’s talks with Roberto De Zerbi
ESPN Brazil have said that Tottenham are continuing to work on a deal for the 22-year-old and they are ‘confident’ about reaching an agreement with Man City over the coming days.
The expectation is that the Lilywhites will meet Man City’s asking price for Savinho, which is around £70m.
The report confirms what other sources have reported on the matter, explaining that City have not accelerated their sale of the Brazilian since they have not been able to find a replacement so far.
However, it is revealed that Savinho has spoken more than once with De Zerbi to find out the Italian’s plans for him. The former Girona man has now made it clear to Enzo Maresca that he does not want to remain at the Etihad Stadium.
Spurs are still a long way away from Cody Gakpo deal
ESPN Brazil are not the only ones to report on Tottenham’s optimism regarding a deal for the Man City man, with The Athletic also claiming on Wednesday that De Zerbi’s men are confident of clinching a deal for Savinho.
However, the outlet explained that it is a completely different story regarding the club’s other top attacking target, Cody Gakpo.
It was alleged that Spurs have only registered an interest with the Liverpool star’s representatives, and are yet to even contact the Reds regarding a deal for the Dutchman.
