No club across Europe’s top five leagues can match Tottenham Hotspur in one unfortunate metric this season.
Many pundits are starting to question if Thomas Frank is the right fit for Spurs after the Lilywhites delivered another disastrous performance on Sunday.
According to reports, the Tottenham hierarchy retain faith in Frank and are willing to give him time to turn things around.
One statistic that has now come to light suggests that the Dane has been extremely unlucky in one respect and has been handicapped severely in his first few months at N17.

Injuries have hampered Tottenham’s progress
Transfermarkt have now quantified the injuries that all clubs across Europe’s top five leagues have had, and no one comes close to Spurs.
The website has calculated the cumulative number of matches missed by injured players since the start of the campaign.
The Lilywhites have had 15 players out injured, and those players have cumulatively missed 92 games, which puts them comfortably on top.
In fact, there is daylight between Tottenham and the team in second place, Nice, whose injured players have missed 65 matches cumulatively.
The next Premier League side on the list are Brighton in eighth place, whose 14 injured players have missed a total of 61 matches.
Frank has not worked with his favourite player at Spurs
In his first interview as Tottenham head coach, Frank named Dominic Solanke as the player he is looking forward to working with the most.
The Dane said he is sure the 28-year-old will score a lot of goals in his system, and given how he got the best out of the likes of Ivan Toney and Bryan Mbeumo, one could understand his confidence.
However, unfortunately, the England international has not started a single game for the Lilywhites this season and has arguably been their biggest miss.
There is no doubt that James Maddison and Dejan Kulusevski would have gone a long way towards solving Tottenham’s defensive shortcomings had they been available.
