Despite an inconsistent start to the season, Tottenham still find themselves firmly in the race to secure a place in the top four this year, which would see them qualify for the Champions League once more. It won’t be easy, though, with teams like Arsenal and Newcastle performing better than ever.

Spurs go into their next league game on the back of two wins and two clean sheets, after beating Fulham 1-0 in the Premier League and dismantling Championship side Preston North End in the FA Cup with a 3-0 victory. It’s worth noting these two results came away from home, too.

Antonio Conte’s men will have to be at their absolute best to keep up the pace with the teams above them, but with just three points between third-place Newcastle, fourth-place Manchester United, and fifth-place Spurs, everything could change very quickly.
