How Zidane appointment could affect Spurs deals for Bale, Modric, Isco, Kovacic, Eriksen and Kane

Tottenham Hotspur received a manager boost yesterday as Real Madrid welcomed Zinedine Zidane back to the club, putting an end to rumours around Pochettino.

In fact, the appointment of Zidane, just 10 months after he left the club, could affect Tottenham in a number of ways this summer.

Spurs may be in the market for some Real Madrid outgoings, and the Spanish giants be me interested in Tottenham stars in turn.

Madrid will surely have a huge turnaround this summer as they look to sell some of the old guard and bring in fresh faces after an embarrassing Champions League defeat to Ajax.

Harry Kane is surely out of the question for any club in the world right now, as he continues to remain loyal to Spurs, but you never know if Madrid may throw in a cheeky bid.

However, Christian Eriksen may be a prime target for Los Blancos, with the Dane in the final year of his contract next season.

This summer could be the last chance for Spurs to get any money for the midfield man.

But, could they attempt to get some players in return too? Luka Modric and Gareth Bale could be two departures in the summer and Zidane looks to shake things up, and a return to North London for either really would be a fairy tale.

Meanwhile Isco or James Rodriguez would be more like-for-like replacements for Eriksen, and Kovacic may be available seeing as Chelsea will not be able to sign any new players.

Should Spurs go for any of these stars?
