Hulk focused on Olympic Gold

Porto forward Hulk has distanced himself from talks of a move to the Premier League, insisting he is concentrating on winning a gold medal with Brazil at the Olympic Games.

The striker has been linked with a move to both Spurs and Chelsea this summer, with new Tottenham manager AVB reportedly photographed meeting with the player.
Villas-Boas worked with Hulk while he managed Porto before his eventual move to Chelsea and talks of a reunion have been widespread over recent weeks as the new domestic season draws closer.

The Brazilians agent however, has dismissed talks with any club about a potential transfer, insisting his client is focusing on other things.
Hulk’s agent, Teodoro Fonseca, told Globoesporte: “Hulk is totally focused on the Olympic Games.

”There is no hurry. The window only closes on August 31 and he is still under contract with Porto.”

When and if Hulk begins talks with potential new suitors, the forwards’ transfer fee may become a large sticking point for any club interested in signing him while the players’ wages may also be a problem, particularly at Spurs with the current wage cap in place at the club.
