Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp wants to bring AC Milan’s Dutch striker Klaas Jan Huntelaar to White Hart Lane this summer, and is also considering a move for Everton’s South African midfielder Steven Pienaar.

The Daily Mail are reporting that Harry Redknapp will monitor the progress of Pienaar while he is working as a pundit for the BBC at the World Cup.

Huntelaar, 26, could be surplus to requirements at AC Milan if the Italian giants can sign Luis Fabiano after scoring seven goals in 21 appearances during his first season in Serie A.

Pienaar has one year to run on his existing deal at Goodison Park and is said to be keen to want to play Champions League football.

The report claims that Robbie Keane and Jermaine Jenas will both be offered as bait for Pienaar.

  1. Pienaar yes…Huntelaar not sure he has only realy made an impact in the Dutch league, could be to much of a gamble as they would want about 20 mill for him. I think Harry would rather proven prem players i.e Joe Cole Pienaar Craig Bellamy and Gabby Agbonlahor. Any 3 of them and a world class striker would take us to the next level. COYS!!!!

  2. I'm sorry but Huntelaar is not world class he made no impact in madrid neither milan. Agbonlahor would look alot better with service from the likes of Modric, Huddlestone, lennon and Bale ( the type of players villa dont have )
