Hutton issues Hearts warning

Alan Hutton - Tottenham Hotspur News

Alan Hutton insists Spurs will not be underestimating Hearts in the Europa League.

Hutton told the Scottish Sun: “I’ve warned everyone about what it’s like so no one is going up to Scotland thinking it’s going to be an easy game.

“Tynecastle can be an intimidating environment – the fans are close to the pitch which creates an intense atmosphere.

“In some ways it’s actually quite like White Hart Lane.

“It’s going to be a tough test for us – and no one down here is treating it lightly.

“The boys will need to be on their game in the first leg or Hearts will punish them.

“But, trust me, the boys are right up for this game.”

  1. Balls! He's still saying 'us', but perhaps a glimmer with the use of 'the boys'? I hope he is close to the exit door. He is completely surplus to requirements and is not good enough – a defender who can't defend and doesn't play well with Lennon. That might sound a bit harsh, but hey, he's not reading. Clearly bored.
