Hutton to leave Spurs after bust up?

Alan Hutton

A dressing room bust-up with Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp could see Spurs full-back Alan Hutton leave White Hart Lane.

The Scottish international is rumoured to have clashed with Redknapp after the 4-0 FA Cup defeat to Fulham last month and has not been selected since.

Hutton had forced his way back into Redknapp’s plans this season but his days of playing at the Lane could now be numbered – especially with Kyle Walker due to come back to the club in the summer.

Juventus and Aston Villa are both said to be interested in Hutton.

  1. Ok going forward not great in defence, Not a great loss..
Walker younger & bags of potential & Charlie works well with Lennon & is a better defender than Hutton.
6mill would be great business for someone we paid far to much money on to start with.

  2. Ridiculous. Ok so the two had a difference of opinion it shouldn’t stop the manager from picking the player. Personal differences should not come before the club. Unless of course Alan insulted Harry’s mother or wife! Especially in this crucial stage of our season where we can ill afford such pettiness. Personally I’m behind Alan on this sure the tackle that led to the penalty against Fulham was woeful but he wouldn’t even have been in that situation had Dawson not played him such a suicide pass and hung him out to dry and then Dawson himself got himself sent off. And let’s not forget that although we had players out there that could and should have done better it was a very unbalanced looking side that had been playing some decent stuff up until that night. The game was over as a contest after thirty five minutes one or two tactical changes were made and we never conceded anymore. For me Harry wasn’t putting emphasis on this cup competition but at the same time didn’t want a bust up with the league for putting out a weakened team ala Tony Pulis. Stop this foolishness now Alan is a contracted professional football player and Harry is the manager if Harry has publicy criticised the player then he’s wrong to have done so those words should’ve been said behind closed doors. Come on sort this out there’s too much at stake here than feelings. If Alan still wants to leave at the end of the season then fine but right now he’s contracted to play football for Tottenham Hotspur so let him do his job. Lillywhitetilidie

  3. he wasn't getting it together to be honest so yeah bring on kyle. that said i'm behind what lillywhite says and Redknapp shouldn't have said shit bout the facup because he doesnt seem like hes interested. one of my things against redknapp is that he doesn't select his best team for every match but seems to like this roundabouts and swings type crap. The Blackpool game was crucial but he changed all the team that won at san siro. does that make sense? just heard the scum lost ha ha ha ha

  4. At this stage of the season we face up to the next month with no recognised rightback, I fear Harry has cut his nose off to spite all our Spurs faces. Does anyone know if Walker can be recalled? I doubt it.

  5. harry is one selfish hypocrite…

did anybody actually watched milan – napoli? it was a disgrace of football, and it was an italian fight for 1.st place…a horror.ibra is a very bad bad player, robinho was pathetic, and the whole team including the captain was playing 50 years old football.they cant match anyone.seria a is the weakest league in europe,i think russian club can easy domiante italian league.

i hope we get real madrid next round!!!

they are also very very weak at the moment,we just put some pressure on xavi and khedira and job is finished.
