Eidur Gudjohnsen admits that he is loving his time at Tottenham Hotspur.
The 31-year-old moved to White Hart Lane in January from Monaco in a loan deal until the end of the campaign.Â
Spurs boss Harry Redknapp has already expressed his interest to keep Gudjohnsen, and the striker has confirmed a deal is in place to stay at the club next season.
“It’s fairly straightforward,” said Gudjohnsen in the Sunday Mirror. “It was a loan deal to the end of the season with an option for next season as well.
“Whether they make it long term beyond that I don’t know. It’s something that the clubs and myself will have to talk about. I am loving my time here.
“There is something in place, but both parties have to agree and for the time being I’ll settle for that.”
