‘I am top quality’ – rumoured Tottenham target bursts into arrogant rant

Tottenham Hotspur haven’t been too active in the transfer market of late, with their last purchase coming in the form of Lucas Moura from PSG back in January 2018.

That made it two PSG signings for Spurs in as many years, following the acquisition of Serge Aurier at right back.

If reports are to be believed, it could be the hattrick for Tottenham this summer, as they are now being linked with PSG substitute left back Layvin Kurzawa.

This season has been tricky for the full back, with Thomas Tuchel favouring Juan Bernat over Kurzawa through the majority of the season.

In fact, the French left back has only made ten appearances through the entire campaign, with none coming in the Champions League.

This has sparked rumours that he may not on his way in search of first team football, with Spurs linked due to their good relationship with PSG (Calciomercato).

Kurzawa has hit out at his critics, but it comes across as more than a little arrogant.

He said (HITC): “I was young and I was criticised a lot. Today, people speak, but I really don’t give a s*** actually. People are there to speak, people like you (points to the reporters), that doesn’t affect me anymore.

“I was seen as a stupid idiot, even though I am not one. I made mistakes when I was young, mistakes that many players were able to make apart from me.

“I am a top quality player, quite simply.”
