‘I can learn a lot’ – Wolves star looks towards Tottenham man for inspiration

Wolves forward Hwang Hee-chan has revealed that he can learn a lot from Tottenham star Heung-min Son and looks towards his compatriot for inspiration.

The 25-year-old has been in inspired form for the West Midlands side this season since joining on loan from RB Leipzig, scoring four goals in seven Premier League games.

But, Hwang is not looking to plateau, and is keen to keep building on his performances going forward, while naming Tottenham winger Son as someone he idolises in his quest to become one of the best players in the world.

The South Korean pair have spent plenty of time together while on international duty with their national side, and Hwang explained that the 29-year-old acts as a pillar of inspiration for him.

He did, however, reiterate the importance of working hard before anything else, which he feels he is achieving under Bruno Lage at Molineux.

Hwang told The Telegraph: “I can learn a lot from watching [Heung-min] Son, and the first thing is hard work.

“It’s what the manager tells me, to work consistently every day, and that’s what I need to become one of the best players.

“The goal of every player is to become one of the best and that will never waver for me.”
