“I can’t believe” – Michael Owen shares his Spurs v Leicester score prediction

Former Manchester United and Liverpool striker Michael Owen has shared his prediction ahead of Tottenham Hotspur’s Premier League fixture against Leicester City which takes place tomorrow afternoon.

Last time out, Owen correctly predicted that Spurs would draw at Brentford but suggested it would be by a 1-1 scoreline, when in fact it ended up goalless at the Brentford Community Stadium.

Antonio Conte is without Oliver Skipp, Japhet Tanganga and Matt Doherty for the remainder of the season and admitted at yesterday’s press conference that Sergio Reguilon will also miss the visit of the Foxes (Football.London).

Owen believes that Spurs will bounce back by taking all three points against Brendan Rodgers’ side and get their Champions League quest back on track.

He told BetVictor: “I can’t believe Spurs’ last two results. They looked full of confidence and goals, I don’t know what’s happened. The only positive, is that they haven’t lost too much ground to Arsenal in the race for fourth.

“Leicester got a point against Villa last week, but it wasn’t a classic. They’ve not been finding the net as much recently. They’ve drawn two in a row, and they probably should have won both.

“A third game in a row without a win would be unthinkable for Spurs. I’m predicting a 3-1 win.”

Tottenham’s lack of creativity in their last two matches is certainly a cause for concern and something which has to be addressed immediately.

Conte has had a full week to work with his players on the training pitch while Leicester were last in action on Thursday night in the Europa League, the Spurs players should be much fresher coming into the fixture.
