“I don’t know what the future holds for me” – Spurs target speaks out

Crystal Palace wide man Wilf Zaha’s future has been a source of much speculation for last few weeks.

The 26-year-old is regarded by many as the best player outside the top 6 clubs in the Premier League and has been performing at a high level for Palace on a consistent basis over the past few years.

Zaha has been linked with a move to Tottenham on several occasions but the move hasn’t materialised so far. The Ivorian recently discussed his ambition to experience Champions League football, which once again gave rise to speculation about a move away from Selhurst Park.

Palace boss Roy Hodgson insisted after the 3-2 victory against Arsenal yesterday, that Zaha had been misquoted and that he will stay with the club beyond the summer.

However, the pacey wide-man himself was far more non-committal than his manager. Speaking to the BBC, after scoring in the 3-2 win over Palace, Zaha said, “To be honest the only thing I’m thinking about is Palace.

“I’m a Palace player right now and I don’t know what the future holds for me.

“I’m here at Palace, working for Palace. I’m not being distracted by anything else.”
