“I hope to have you back next season” – Mourinho sends out encouraging message to Spurs fans

Jose Mourinho has sent out an encouraging message to the Spurs fans ahead of the last game of the Premier League season on Sunday against Crystal Palace (THFC).

The Spurs head coach has insisted he is looking forward to welcoming the fans back to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium when the government allow that to happen.

Mourinho has led Spurs to a fine end to the season with the Lilywhites earning 13 points from their last five games – making them the most in-form side in the league (Sky Sports).

The Portuguese manager also added he hopes he can help provide Spurs fans with some happy times to come in the future when the Premier League returns for the 2020/21 season.

Tottenham could still qualify for the Europa League this season but are left requiring some help from London rivals, Chelsea.

Tottenham’s final game of the 2019/20 Premier League season against Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park will be shown live on Sky Sports Action, kick-off at 4pm (BST).

Spurs Web Opinion

The results of late have certainly quietened the doubters in Mourinho’s style of play. It has probably been the first spell of games this season where I have actually quite enjoyed watching Spurs as we have seen the best of Harry Kane again.
