Graham Roberts has claimed that Danny Rose, whose 14-year spell at Tottenham came to an end this summer, could return to the club in some capacity in the future.
Rose arrived at Tottenham as a teenager from Leeds United in 2017 and went on to make over 200 appearances for the Lilywhites, becoming a vital part of the club’s rise under Mauricio Pochettino.
The left-back’s time at the club did not end in the manner he would have hoped for after he was completely frozen out of the first-team picture by Jose Mourinho during his final season.
The experienced defender used the opportunity to work with the academy youngsters at Spurs, with the likes of Elliot Thorpe praising the 31-year-old for his help.
After his contract with Tottenham ran out earlier this summer, the England international signed for newly-promoted Watford where he will line up alongside Moussa Sissoko this season.
When Daniel Levy’s treatment of Rose was questioned by a fan on social media, Roberts insisted that the defender has a good relationship with the Spurs chairman and could return to the club in the future.
I know for a fact Danny rose and Daniel close! Don’t be surprised to see Danny back in some capacity in the future! 👍

Spurs Web Opinion
While some Spurs fans were understandably upset with Rose due to some of his antics during the last few years, it is fair to say that most will remember the left-back quite fondly.
The 31-year-old certainly wore his heart on his sleeve and it will be brilliant if he returns to the club one day in a coaching capacity as he clearly seems to enjoy working with young players.
