‘I know him personally’ – Pundit claims this star could move to Spurs

Tottenham Hotspur could be looking to spend big this summer, with Levy and Pochettino pushing to bring silverware to their new stadium.

The likes of Christian Eriksen, Toby Alderweireld, Serge Aurier, Victor Wanyama, Fernando Llorente, Vincent Janssen, Georges-Kevin Nkoudou, and more could be sold at the end of the season.

This would free up wages, transfer fee, and space in the squad for a whole host of new stars in North London, if Spurs are willing to spend some money.

Tottenham haven’t signed a single new player since Lucas Moura back in January 2018.

Pundit Clint Morrison told Sky Sports News this week that he believes Tottenham would take Wilfried Zaha from Crystal Palace.

It is undeniable that Zaha is playing below his level at Palace, but whether Spurs would stump up the cash needed to buy him, and whether he could make it at a top club are two other questions.

Morrison said (quoted by HITC): “When he is in a one-on-one situation, you don’t want to be against Wilf [Zaha]. And he believes in his own ability. I know him personally, he plays like he is in the playing ground. He plays like ‘give me the ball, I’m going to make things happen’. He likes to entertain, do a trick and make the defender look silly.

“I believe Arsenal or Tottenham would take him. I think he would get into Arsenal’s team. I can’t see Liverpool or Manchester City.”
