‘I love this club’ – Former Tottenham star and academy product tweets his joy over Champions League glory

Tottenham Hotspur are in the final of the UEFA Champions League; a reality that is still yet to sink in for a lot of Spurs fans.

The Lilywhites looked down and out of the game after the hosts scored two first-half goals through Matthijs de Ligt and Hakim Ziyech, to go 3-0 up on aggregate.

However, Pochettino brought Fernando Llorente on at half time and, just like in the first leg, the Ajax defenders found it difficult to handle him.

Spurs produced an unbelievable comeback in the second half, courtesy of a Lucas Moura hattrick, to win the game 3-2 and go through to the final on away goals.

The last of Moura’s goals came in the final minute of stoppage time when the game looked all but over.

The goal was met with wild celebrations from the players, Pochettino and his staff, the fans, and some ex-players.

Former Spurs midfielder Ryan Mason took to social media to convey his feelings after the dramatic late winner.
