Sergio Reguilon took to social media to tell Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg that he loves him after the midfielder expressed his delight at the team’s win at Turf Moor last night.
Hojbjerg was one of Tottenham’s standout performers on Monday as they emerged 1-0 winners away from home.
It was not a typical free-scoring performance from the Lilywhites that we have been used to this season as they had to dig in and contend with Burnley’s aerial bombardment throughout the ninety minutes.
While Eric Dier and Toby Alderweireld won more than their fair share of headers against Chris Wood and Ashley Barnes, Hojbjerg and Moussa Sissoko also did their part in snuffing out danger and preventing the home side from getting to loose balls.
It was yet another mature display from the Dane both in and out of possession and he admitted his delight at the fighting spirit shown by the team.
Reguilon, who was an unused sub in the game, responded with: “I love you”, to which Hojbjerg then replied: “We all love you Hermanooo”
I love you ❤️

This interaction is one of many that shows the tremendous spirit and the camaraderie that exists within the squad. It is also evident that the new arrivals have settled in very quickly, which can sometimes prove difficult when a club brings in as many new faces as we did in one transfer window.
