Eric Dier has revealed that he has spoken a lot with Harry Kane about life at Bayern Munich and admitted that he is looking forward to reuniting with his former Tottenham teammate.
Dier officially completed his switch to Bayern on Thursday and the centre-back gave an emotional goodbye message to Spurs fans on the club’s channel.
The 29-year-old got quite emotional when he looked back on his nine-and-a-half years at Spurs and admitted that the Lilywhites will always be a special place for him.
The England international has now given his first interview to Bayern’s official channel, describing the switch to the Bundesliga giants as a ‘dream come true’.
Dier remarked that he cannot wait to run out onto the pitch at the Allianz Arena, adding that he is ready to play in whatever position Thomas Tuchel wants him to.

The former Spurs man also admitted that he has been in regular touch with Kane about life in Bavaria.
Dier told Bayern’s official website: “I spoke a lot to Harry even before I was coming. We spoke since he came here, about his experience so far and how much he is enjoying it. When I found out the news yesterday, we spoke a lot more and I am looking forward to seeing him.”

Spurs Web Opinion
It is not long ago that Dier was in exceptional form in the heart of Tottenham’s back three under Antonio Conte and although he might be heading to Bayern as a squad player, I would not put it past him to become a regular in Tuchel’s starting eleven over the next few months.
