‘I think so’ – Serie A star makes admission amidst rumoured Spurs interest

Juventus winger Matias Soule, who is rumoured to be on Tottenham’s radar, has admitted that he expects to see out his loan spell at Frosinone until the end of the season.

Much like a lot of young players who come through the ranks at Juve, Soule has had to leave the Allianz Arena to showcase his talent, with the attacker catching the eye since his move to the newly promoted club back in the summer.

The Argentine, who primarily operates on the right but can also play as a number ten, has seven goals to his name so far this season, and he is thought to have caught Tottenham’s eye.

Several outlets over the past month have backed the Lilywhites to make a move for the 20-year-old (Fichajes) while Newcastle United and Crystal Palace are also thought to be sniffing around the winger (Gazzetta dello Sport via Football Italia).

In fact, last week, TuttoSport (via TuttoMercatoWeb) even suggested that Juventus could offer the youngster to Spurs as a part of their deal to sign Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg.

Matias Soule is not planning on a January transfer

However, Solue himself has seemingly played down the chances of a January transfer, remarking that he expects to see out the rest of his loan spell at Stadio Benito Stirpe.

When asked if he would be at Frosinone beyond January, he told TMW: “I think so, I will stay until the end of the championship.”

The final decision on whether to cut short Soule’s loan spell and whether to sell him will be made by Juventus and we know that the Bianconeri need to raise some cash to pursue their transfer targets. So, if there is a reasonable offer from the Premier League for the Argentine, I suspect he will be on the move.
