The spoils were shared between Tottenham and Arsenal in the North London Derby on Sunday and neither side can have too many complains about the result as both teams had chances to win the game.
However, one of the main talking points from the game has been the penalty appeal by Harry Kane towards the end.
The Tottenham striker got himself goal side of Arsenal center half Sokratis Papastathopoulos, only for the Greek defender to bring him down.
Martin Atkinson, however, waved away protests and VAR did not deem the incident an obvious enough error to intervene and overturn the decision.
After the match, several pundits and fans of other clubs have accused Kane of simulating and trying to con the referee.
Some Spurs fans on social media grew tired of the double standards employed when judging Kane and pointed to other incidents from the same match as well as previous North London derbies when other players won fouls for much softer incidents.

Xhaka not booked for his challenge on son, Sokratis not even considered a foul on Kane in the box, but this was a yellow card to rose btw. pic.twitter.com/lDQxZ2Z7w1

Harry Kane did not dive FFS!! Its a penalty. He pushed him. If this is Salah, is this getting the same attention?? Doubt it

I wonder if @SkySports will make Lacazette review this dive that he shamefully did which resulted in Danny Rose getting booked? pic.twitter.com/cKwAdNFX1m

Feel sorry for Harry Kane I really do. The slightest little incident and everyone is all over him finding any stick to beat him with they can. Did it to Beckham to Rooney just a weird mentality in this country. And yet he just keeps on scoring 16⚽️ In his last 24 appearances ?? pic.twitter.com/NlFLPDoqli

Spurs Web Opinion
Whether one thinks the incident warranted a penalty or not, to accuse Kane of diving is ridiculous. Strikers go down all the time when they feel contact and to single out the Tottenham striker for it when there are worse offenders in the Premier League is certainly unfair.
