Simon Kjaer’s agent has revealed that the Danish defender would be interested in a move to Tottenham Hotspur.

The Palmero president had claimed that a £28.4million had agreed agreed between Spurs and the Italian outfit for Kjaer and Edinson Cavani.

“We know of a lot of interest, for sure, but we don’t know of any concrete interest,” Kjaer’s agent Mikkel Beck told Soccernet. “So far, nothing concrete has happened. We know there is a lot of interest in the European market, but we are in a situation where we have to wait and see what happens.

“Simon knows what he has at Palermo. He has three years left on his contract, and we’re not just talking about any club – it’s a top club in Italy. It’s not one of the biggest, maybe, but he’s one of the most important players and they have qualified for Europe.

“He knows what he has, but he’s ready to move on if the right club makes an offer, so we’re just waiting to see.”

When asked if Spurs were the right club, Beck replied: “If they should agree a fee, of course we would. That’s normal. We have still not come to the point where they have agreed a fee, so for the time being I would rather not comment on Tottenham, but England would be interesting for Simon if anyone would make a concrete offer.”
