Former Arsenal striker Ian Wright has taken to Twitter to react after Tottenham Hotspur drew 2-2 away to Manchester City.
The home side looked like they had won the match in injury time when the ball from a corner kick somehow squeezed through to Gabriel Jesus and he took one touch before curling it into the bottom right corner through a sea of Spurs bodies.
City’s jubilation was short lived after VAR adjudged that the ball appeared to hit Aymeric Laporte’s arm on the way through to Gabriel Jesus.
The home side had twice led after Kevin De Bruyne set up goals for Raheem Sterling and Aguero in the first half. However, they were cancelled out by Erik Lamela and, with his first touch of the game after coming on as a substitute, Lucas Moura.
The decision saw Wright claim the decision was ridiculous when he vented his frustration on social media.
