Tottenham Hotspur are in the middle of a striker crisis at the moment with Harry Kane ruled out of action until March with an ankle injury and Heung-Min Son currently playing for South Korea at the Asia Cup.
To make matters worse Dele Alli had to be substituted with a hamstring problem towards the end of Tottenham’s game against Fulham yesterday afternoon. Spurs are said to be keen to bring in a striker in January to ease their troubles.
The club have been linked with a whole host of strikers including the likes of Jarrod Bowen, Josh Maja, Callum Wilson, and Timo Werner.
However, the latest rumour might be the most ridiculous of them all. A report in The Sun claims that Spurs want to bring in West Ham striker Andy Carroll to North London.
Carroll’s contract with West Ham runs out at the end of the season and the striker is said to be available for just £2 million.
