Ian Wright has claimed that if any team can stop Liverpool from winning all of their remaining Premier League games, it is Tottenham Hotspur.
The Premier League title race between Liverpool and Manchester City looks set to go right down to the wire, with just a point separating the two sides.
While City have been as consistent as we have come to expect from them under Pep Guardiola, Liverpool have moved up a couple of gears over the last couple of months and are dismantling teams with their firepower up front.
Spurs travel to Anfield on May 8 in what could be a clash that determines where the title ends up this season.
Antonio Conte’s men will be focused on their own objective of finishing in the top four but Wright believes the Lilywhites are the one side that could potentially stop the Reds if they turn up on the day.
The former Arsenal striker told Premier League Productions (20/04/22 at 10:25 pm): “I think that Tottenham game for Liverpool looks a tricky one. You don’t know what Tottenham are going to turn up. If any team can cause them problems, then it could be a Tottenham.”

Given the form they are in, I expect Liverpool to win every game until the end of the season. Hopefully, we will have a bit of a cushion over Arsenal heading into the clash at Anfield.
Even if we play well and defend resolutely in that match, as one would expect us to do, Liverpool could essentially blow us away in a good ten-minute spell, given the firepower they have.
