Some Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to Twitter to react to comments from Jose Mourinho regarding his transfer plans for this month.
The Portuguese was quoted by Football.London as claiming that he does not plan on signing any defenders in the January transfer window and will instead use the time to try and improve his current crop of players.
Spurs had been linked with the likes of Napoli’s Kalidou Koulibaly, who is said to be unsettled at the Serie A side and seeking a January exit (El Desmarque).
Tottenham have conceded 15 goals in Jose Mourinho’s first ten games in charge at the club with the draw at Norwich City in the last match meaning that the Portuguese has picked up seven points from a possible 12 away from home since taking over from Mauricio Pochettino.
Some fans have expressed their frustration at the possibility of no reinforcements arriving to bolster the defence.
