Igor Tudor confessed that it feels like everything is going against Tottenham Hotspur after watching the events that unfolded towards the end of his side’s 5-2 loss at Atletico Madrid.
As if the bruising defeat and almost getting dumped out of the Champions League were not enough, the Lilywhites suffered another blow in the final stages of the clash at the Metropolitano Stadium.
Cristian Romero and Joao Palhinha had a nasty clash of heads, with the pair being unable to continue after receiving treatment.
Romero and Palhinha could be forced to miss the clash against Liverpool on Sunday if they are concussed, as per the Premier League protocols.

Igor Tudor admits ‘it is difficult to explain’ the things happening to Tottenham
Tottenham will already be without Micky van de Ven at Anfield following the Dutchman’s red card against Crystal Palace.
Tudor admitted that it is hard to see two of his key players having a collision when the game was already lost in Madrid.
When asked if the Argentine and the Portuguese stars are concussed, Tudor responded (via Football.London): “Also, an example of the moment. It is incredible. It is incredible. We finished the game and we see the two players and there is Micky [Van de Ven], who is out with a red card. Sometimes it is difficult to explain. It looks like everything is against us. Incredible things.”
When asked if he expects both of them to be out of Sunday’s clash, Tudor said: “I don’t know. We will see. I don’t know.”
Spurs youngster urges his teammates to take responsibility
Amid what appears to be a leadership vacuum at Tottenham, one teenager has issued a rallying cry to his teammates following the loss to Atletico Madrid.
Archie Gray has called the Spurs players to take responsibility and get the club out of their current mess, as relegation appears an increasingly likely outcome with each passing week.
One would hope that the squad has not already given up, and the players have it in them to make one final big push to avoid disaster in the nine league games left.
