“I’m feeling good” – Harry Kane reveals why he is enjoying his football

Harry Kane has admitted that he is feeling better right now than he ever has in his career, in what will come as music to Spurs fans’ ears.

Kane has had more than his fair share of injury problems over the last three seasons.

Some were even questioning not too long ago if the Tottenham striker will ever get back to the player he once was and suggesting that he had declined physically.

However, the England captain has certainly shut his critics up at the start of this campaign as he is arguably playing the best football of his career so far.

The striker’s attributes have come to the fore in the slightly more withdrawn role he is now playing this season and the team certainly seems to be benefiting from it.

Kane has registered 13 goals and 11 assists in all competitions so far this season and is showing no signs of slowing down.

The striker admitted that he is in a sweet spot in terms of his career and that he is loving his football.

Kane told The BBC’s Headliner’s Show (as relayed by The Focus): “It’s the best I’ve ever felt to be honest.

“I’m at an age now, 27, I’m not young, I’m not old, I’m feeling good, feeling sharp, physically and mentally. Game understanding, experience on the pitch.

“I feel in a good place and we’re winning games as a team which helps. I know it takes an awful lot of energy to go all the way and I’m loving it at the moment.”

Ironically, it looks as if Kane could miss this evening’s Europa League match against LASK through an injury (Football.London).
