Video: ‘I’m really sorry’ – Dejected Heung-min Son reacts to Man United loss

To say that Heung-min Son looked dejected in his post-match interview after this evening’s loss to Man United would be an understatement. He was simply lost for words.

The South Korean winger apologised repeatedly to the fans for the 3-1 defeat, while stating that his goal meant nothing without a win.

While Son added that Spurs would have to remain positive for the remaining eight games as they push for a trophy and a top-four place, the attacker was visibly distraught with the result this evening.

Have something to tell us about this article?

  1. I would never criticise Son. Aa a team, as a must win gane, where was the desire second half that Man Utd had. Last year too, we blew a win at home to Man Utd in crucial game. We had a bit of luck with the decision first half. Also think Mourinho isn’t helping. No Alderweireld, no Alli even from the bench, Bale gets 5 mins now, why? Had we played Thursday I would understand but Man U were fresher and deserved their win. They also have a better squad than us. Feel financially we have some hard times ahead. Imagine our league position without Kane.
