Tottenham Hotspur may be one of the biggest clubs in the world at the moment after qualifying for the Champions League Final last season, but it wasn’t the Lilywhites who drew one of the biggest names in music this week.
Entertainment behemoth, Ed Sheeran, made the trip to Portman Road yesterday to watch the Tottenham U21 team take on Ipswich Town in the EFL Trophy.
The local boy turned music superstar is a die-hard Ipswich fan and always makes the time to don the shirt and see a game or two when he can.
Luckily for him, his latest Divide album tour recently ended after two and a half years, handing him enough time to pop down and watch the Blues.
In fact, Ed owns a box at Portman Road nowadays, meaning that it may be tough for fans to actually meet him on matchdays.
