London rivals Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United had contrasting weekends in the Premier League in match week six.

Spurs gave away a 1-0 lead to lose their match against Leicester City, while West Ham pulled off a 2-0 upset against Man United.

Despite it only being six games into the new season, West Ham apparently felt compelled to gloat about how the club is currently above Spurs in the table whilst also using the smug face Emoji.

The Hammers sat in fourth, while Spurs were in sixth at the time of the tweet. West Ham also appear to have highlighted Tottenham in the image, just in case the dig wasn’t clear.

Opinion

Tottenham will be looking to bounce back in the Premier League on Saturday when Southampton are the visitors to North London. We must wait until November before we face West Ham for the first time this season and it will be certainly interesting to see which club is higher in the table come November 23rd.
