Tottenham Hotspur have essentially been treated to a late winter break this season, and it couldn’t have come at a better time for the North London outfit.

Spurs have lost three of their last four matches, dropping 11 out of 12 points in the process.

The Lilywhites face an away trip to Liverpool next in the Premier League, although this is not for another three weeks.

Spurs have plenty of time to rest and train between now and then, giving Pochettino time to get his players back to full focus and fitness.

Tottenham did have a match at home to Crystal Palace scheduled, but due to Palace’s FA Cup commitments, this fixture was rescheduled.

Pochettino has since taken the decision to fly his side out to a training camp in Barcelona for a change of weather and scenery.

Fans will be hoping this rest period can do the players some good ahead of a tough season run in.
