Tottenham Hotspur have Champions League football cemented for next season, but their main focus now is to ensure that they enter next year as the defending champions.
Spurs face Liverpool in the final of the Champions League on June 1 in Madrid, with both sides looking to lift the prestigious trophy.
This is Tottenham’s first appearance in the final of the competition, while Liverpool boast back-to-back appearances at this stage.
However, the Spurs lads may have been inspired by a certain visitor this week, as the club social media revealed that David Beckham had been in attendance during training.
England legend, and a past star of Man United, Real Madrid, LA Galaxy, and PSG, Becks knows all about winning trophies, even boasting a Champions League winners medal from his time in Manchester.
What some people may not realise is that Beckham was actually at Spurs for four years during his youth career, before moving on to Brimsdown Rovers and eventually Man U.
Let’s hope Beckham gave Tripps and Eriksen some tips on how to beat the first man.
