Tottenham Hotspur have received a welcome boost ahead of the new Premier League season as Eric Dier and Serge Aurier have returned to first-team training.
Dier has missed every pre-season match so far after a medical issue was detected on the first day back to training last month (Tottenham).
Meanwhile, Serge Aurier has been away at the African Cup of Nations, before he sustained a hand injury and had to undergo surgery (Tottenham).
However, both will now be hoping to make the first-team squad on the opening day of the season as they have a full week to go before the Villa match.
