Tottenham came away with a hard-fought point from Carrow Road this evening after trailing Norwich twice and managing to pull themselves back level on both occasions.
Spurs went into the half time interval a goal down after a lacklustre first-half performance. In fact, the home side were unlucky not to go into the interval 2-0 up as Teemu Pukki’s goal was chopped off by VAR for an extremely marginal offside call.
However, the second half was a completely different story as Mourinho changed the system and bought on Lucas Moura. Spurs looked extremely threatening going forward and got their equaliser through a well -taken a Christian Eriksen free-kick.
While the Canaries managed to retake the lead through a slice of good fortune, Spurs once again hit back late in the game through a Harry Kane penalty to ensure that the spoils were shared.
While some Spurs fans were extremely frustrated at the fact that the team dropped two points, others raved about Ndombele’s performance
Despite coming from behind twice, it’s nowhere near good enough for a Tottenham Hotspur side to draw to bottom of the table Norwich City.

A 2nd half that just shows how vital it is for Ndombele to get fully fit. He will be so important to us. He is what we are so desperate for in midfield.

Since Mourinho has taken over, we haven’t yet fully dominated & won a game comfortably (bar Burnley). Having said that, it’s unfair to judge him & where he can take us until at least this time next season. Give him a summer & a full pre-season to sort things out.

Ndombele brilliant, Eriksen very good, the rest not great. Really poor result.

Positives. Sanchez, Ndombele was class, Eriksen and Kane. Negatives to rest of them. #COYS

Ndombele was immense all game, shame that he can't start 2 games in a row.

More points dropped but much better in the second half after the changes. Ndombele is an absolute beast, a level above all of our other midfielders.

Ndombele will be frightening when he gets fit. Trouble is we need a proper mobile DM who can protect the back 4 to sit in with him. We lack that atm

Every time we have top 4 / a trophy riding on a match we can’t get over the line.
That tells you all you need to know about the players and their mentality.
I hate to say it but we do need a big change.
How tf could Eriksen be man of the match in that game. Scored but 🤷🏼♂️ #COYS

Spurs Web Opinion
It is unfair to judge the team too harshly on this performance given that we just had another game 48 hours ago. The players showed great spirit to keep fighting and not let their heads drop when Aurier scored that unfortunate own goal. While our tendency to start slow is extremely worrying, we were excellent in the second half.
