‘In Conte we trust’ – Some fans react to Antonio Conte’s first Spurs team selection

Some Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to Twitter to share their reaction to Antonio Conte’s first ever team selection for this evening’s match against Vitesse Arnhem in the Europa Conference League.

Tottenham have won their last eight European home matches, scoring 30 goals; they had kept clean sheets in six of those games in succession until conceding last time out against Mura.

Unsurprisingly, Conte has reverted to his familiar 3-5-2 formation which includes a back three of Eric Dier, Cristian Romero and Ben Davies, while Harry Kane and Heung-min Son lead the attack.

Emerson Royal and Sergio Reguilon provide the pace in the wing-back role, with Oliver Skipp, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and Lucas Moura given the midfield responsibility.

Spurs fans will be looking to the Italian to get off to winning ways and leapfrog the Dutch outfit in the table.
