In Focus: Dele Alli

Tottenham Hotspur enjoyed a well-deserved 2-0 win over their bitter rivals in the North London derby this evening.

Just 17 days after their NLD loss in the Premier League, Tottenham were granted their revenge thanks to the Carabao Cup draw.

There was only one choice for the In Focus segment tonight, as Dele Alli completely stole the show at the Emirates.

For someone who is still only 22, Dele is now showing great maturity in his game.

Not only is his passing, hold up play, trickery and goal scoring exquisite, but he has also cut out that bit of petulance out of his game.

Instead of getting wound up, he now knows how to wind up the opposition, like with his second half chip over Cech, despite knowing he was offside.

Dele Alli made the opening goal with a pinpoint pass between the lines for Heung Min Son to run on to.

He then turned from creator to scorer, latching onto a Harry Kane through ball before delightfully chipping it over a despairing Cech with the outside of his right boot.

This beautiful goal rounded off one of Alli’s finest displays this season, and this young man is going from strength to strength in a Spurs shirt.
