Tottenham Hotspur enjoyed their best ever start to this season, and were able to maintain this amazing record points tally until recently.

Spurs have now taken just one point from their last possible 12, after losses to Burnley, Chelsea, Southampton today, and a draw against Arsenal in the North London Derby.

Tottenham were looking to go two points behind then League leaders Liverpool just a couple of weeks ago, but now find themselves in a fight for the top four.

And after today’s loss, they would struggle to even label themselves favourite in that fight, after handing Man United the chance to draw level on points, and Chelsea to move above if they win both games in hand.

Arsenal are also lurking, with the only saving grace being that the Gunners face Man United tomorrow.

Tottenham need to buck their ideas up and rediscover their form quickly if they are to bring any form of Champions League football to the new stadium next season.
